The year is almost over yayyy! I think everyone’s a bit relieved for 2017 to be over, but I must admit that I’m a little sad that my reading challenges for this year are coming to an end.
This year, I took part in the Goodread’s Reading Challenge (I completed it, barely), and the 2017 New Adult Reading Challenge created by Cátia @thegirlwhoreadtoomuch. I figured I’d do what everyone else has been doing this week and post a wrap up of my challenge, so here it is!:
So I completed the book bingo challenge! I almost didn’t make it, but I ended up adding a few novels I’d deliberately missed out to this board, just so I could complete it. Also, because I’m an idiot, I kept adding novels to this challenge that weren’t even New Adult, but those have since been removed. (Even some still on the board are a little grey area on whether they’re classed as NA or not but I tried, okay?)
For this challenge, I also aimed to read more novels that are diverse, and while not every novel on the board is diverse, I’m pretty happy with my progress into reading more diverse fiction. I’m excited to keep this up going forward into 2018.
I read a total of 61 novels this year, and out of those, 30 of them were NA. I’m actually surprised at how little NA I’ve read in 2017 because it feels like a lot more than just 30 (and five of the novels I’ve read this year were actually re-reads).
Here’s a list of reviews I posted on some of the books featured on the bingo board:

I’m undecided on whether I’m going to participate in the 2018 challenge, but here’s a link if you’re interested [2018 New Adult Reading Challenge]
So that’s it. It’s done and I’m pretty pleased that I acutally managed to complete the challenge. How did you do with your reading challenges this year?? Let me know in the comments!
Have a Happy New Year!
